The product certainly does what it claims--making it easier to load a heavy kayak. However the stop which keeps the kayak from sliding sidewards off of the bar is not really that good. It should be taller. My boat slipped off the bar, jumped over the end, and fell, taking the passenger side exterior mirror out.
